Pini Kay briquettes are modern, environmentally friendly solid fuel for boilers, fireplaces and stoves of various types. The raw material for this type of fuel is all types of bio-waste, but the most common are sawdust briquettes. You can also find briquettes made from agricultural waste, namely straw, sunflower seeds. They are found even from fallen leaves.

The peculiarity of this type of briquettes is their shape. They are a tetrahedron or an octahedron, about 30 centimeters long. Along the entire length of the briquette, there is a hole in its center that creates additional thrust during combustion, which allows them to be used even in stoves with low thrust.

Pini Kay Briquettes are produced on high-tech equipment that allows for the disposal of both waste from the woodworking industry and the sawdust itself, which is transformed into briquettes by crushing and drying with the help of a press (extruder). The beginning of production begins with the crushing of wood waste into chips. Next, the wood chips together with the sawdust are fed into a hammer crusher, where they are turned into a homogeneous fraction.

Since all raw materials have different moisture content, they are dried. All the sawdust from the crusher enters the hopper through the ventilation system,

and from it is fed into the drying drum, where the drying process takes place to a moisture content of no higher than 8%. After drying, the sawdust enters directly into the press itself (extruder). Admixtures for gluing briquettes are not used, because lignin is released from wood during pressing. This natural polymer glues the surface of the briquette. Next, the briquette moves along the square channel and is burned with heat. Processing temperature 180-300 ºС. Thanks to this process, the briquette gets rid of harmful elements, such as sulfur, and also partially releases resins. The baked briquette prevents moisture from entering it, makes the product resistant to destruction during transportation.
